SEB
The SEB Group is a North European financial banking group for companies, institutions and private individuals. SEB has more than 5 million customers in the Nordic countries, Germany and the Baltic States. The Group is represented in some 20 countries around the world and has a staff of about 20,000.
In 1972 Skandinaviska Banken and Stockholms Enskilda Bank merged to form Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken. Stockholms Enskilda Bank was founded in 1856. SEB therefore celebrated its 150th anniversary in year 2006.
SEB in Finland
In 1984 SEB opened a representative office in Finland. 10 years later, in 1994, the Helsinki Branch was established. In 1997 Gyllenberg was acquired and became part of the SEB Group.
SEB offers a wide range of products and services to companies, institutional clients as well as private individuals in Finland. The business operates in Finland within three units, Merchant Banking, Wealth Management and SEB Kort.
