SEB is an experienced asset manager with strong in-house resources that are complemented by a network of leading international asset managers. SEB uses international partners in asset management areas where we have not focused our resources on. The main focus for SEB Wealth Management in our asset management is on domestic and European shares and bond investments, but due to the utilisation of external asset managers, SEB are also able to offer high-quality world wide asset management. Our fund selection covers all major asset classes and markets.
SEB Funds registered in Finland
SEB Fund Management Company Finland manages 20 funds that are registered in Finland. In Finland registered SEB funds focuses especially on domestic equity investments, bond investments in the Euroarea, fund of funds and balanced funds that we manage in-house. Fund selection includes also the first Finland-registered ethical fund, and a balanced fund especially designed for foundations. We use leading international partners in portfolio management areas where special skills are needed. These areas include international index funds and international high yield corporate bonds.
SEB Funds registered outside Finland
We have chosen around 30 SEB funds to present to our customers. Among them, there are Euro-funds, interesting sector funds, funds that invest in small and medium-sized companies, global funds and several funds that invest in a specific country. SEB’s international funds are designed for investors, who want to diversify their investments beyond their domestic market. The funds offer an easy and effortless way to invest internationally. The wide range of SEB funds makes it possible for the customer to create a tailor-made investment portfolio, that can focus on a specific geographical area, for example the Nordic countries or a specific sector like medical or technology.
SEB External Funds
SEB External Funds open the door for Finnish investors to invest in the world wide fund markets. SEB's customers have the chance to subscribe carefully chosen funds among the most wellknown international asset managers. We have chosen funds and asset managers that complement our own fund selection. Many of the chosen funds have a good history and have been among the best funds in the world for a long time. In the fund selection process we evaluate also other criteria, such as experience and investment process. The selection is aimed for customers who seek alternative investment opportunities from the world. SEB's customers can subscribe funds from the following external partners: AllianceBernstein, Baring, East Capital, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, BlackRock, Pictet and Schroders. The international fund selection is a good complement for other fund- and security investments.
